Arthurs have been satisfying audiences for some time and for good reason. Wayne started his career as a singer
songwriter five years ago after his good friends ncouraged him to give his gift of voice and song to a wider audience. His shows started out intimate and quickly grew after word
of mouth spread about his moving performances. He began writing and his own material much to his audiences delight.
Ric had taken a short hiatus from touring to recharge his batteries and hadn't even been home a month when the songwriting bug bit and it bite hard. He found himself awake many late nights getting to tape what had been rolling around in his heart for so long. He has since penned a vast
number of songs, some recorded by successful regional and national touring artists. Now with a catalog of songs that needed a voice, he sought other artists that had similar tastes. And that's how Wayne and Ric met. When Wayne decided to finally put to vinyl what his fans have loved for so long he, too, sought someone with similar ideas. Wayne had been working on a number of gems and wanted someone with a similar vision to help perfect them. After the two decided to give some co-writing sessions a shot magic was made. What followed was more wood shedding and the partnership blossomed from there with Wayne releasing a short EP that was resoundingly applauded by fans and
critics alike. The CD sold wildly on a regional level and it was a natural evolution that found the two performing together.
The Arthurs is the culmination of the love of the craft of songwriting and melody. Wayne McArthur and Ric Todd make up the undeniable duo that is now giving what fans of music.
